Painting doors to blend in with natural wood

This was a job I carried out in Bramhall, Stockport. The original finish was light oak as you can see from the cornice and pelmet. To keep down the cost we just resprayed the doors and left the other elements natural wood. After we applied some clear lacquer to the natural wood the results were fantastic. This was painted to match Farrow and Ball’s “Farrow’s Cream”.

He took away all the drawer fronts and wardrobe doors and resprayed them. He resprayed the carcasses insitu by hand. He has replaced all the handles.
